June 2018

After some delays with previous reports I really wanted to write June’s summary as fast as I can. It’s important to me, because it’s a middle of the year and I want to re-evaluate my goals for 2018. The June monthly report seems to be a perfect place to do that.

 

Let’s start with the summary of June:

To describe the whole month in one word I would use unexpected. The first unpleasant surprise was my laryngitis I had in the middle of the month, but second unexpected thing was that it didn’t make me sad at all. It looks like now I know how to deal with such a quirk of fate. I had to stay in bed for a couple of days, but I had a backup plan, so me and my family didn’t died, when mommy get sick, as my husband used to say.

MAMAdesigner

Still according to plan! I’ve published 4 new posts including 1 DIY – it’s always huge for me. This DIY article was the tutorial how to make your own paper windmill and it was also published in the 5th issue of Kredka Magazine – creative magazine for kids from Pani Kredka.
I’m happy with the statistics too. They’re getting bigger and bigger from month to month. This time MAMAdesigner gained over 360 Unique Users and almost 670 Page Views.
I always write what was the best for me and my daughter thanks to MAMAdesigner and in June it was of course the Children’s Day. We made a lot of cool stuff together – one of them was a paper windmill mentioned above. We also had an amazing time making Father’s Day card with nice stickers.

TUTSY

I could write it’s a big failure that I’ve published only one post in June, but I could also write it’s a big achievement that I’ve published one post in June. I’m choosing the second version. I’m really glad I found the time to write this post, because as I wrote in May monthly report I’m having a small revolution in my life right now and I simply have very little time for Tutsy at all.
But I still remember about my readers – it was over 1000 Unique Users on Tutsy during the whole month and almost 1800 Page Views – thank you, I’m going to prepare something cool for you very soon.

Enclave Games

Nothing in particular. I did prepare one nice logo and page layout but this time I can’t tell anything else about the project. I’m still waiting for End3r to release cool stuff related to our last game (here is our latest project: cool football level in Flood Escape) and I’ve returned to work on one of our previous unfinished games.

Other projects and private stuff

As I wrote lately I took part in cool photo challenge and I’m really proud of all the pictures I took. It was fun to work on something for a whole month and see how the project grew. Thanks to the challenge I had a chance to publish one photo a day on my Instagram feed and it was nice too. I really want to keep that direction.

I finished my first professional Barbie doll cloth! It’s a beautiful “little-black” dress and I want to open a manufacture and make more like this one 😉 I’m joking but it was a lot of fun to do that.

I’ve started a diet and I’m finally losing weight 😉

On the last day of the month, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. I was on a diet already so I didn’t ate the cake from the picture 😉 But it’s ok – the diet and other stuff are nice gifts to myself.

 

Goals for 2018 – re-evaluation

In 2017 summary I put few goals for 2018. Back then I wanted to:
Start a huge secret project
As we all know the project was MAMAdesigner and I’m happy I started it and it’s going very well.
Design from 2 to 12 new games
I did 3 and a half already – first one is the Enclave Games Body Guard demo for GGJ2018, second is the game for Enclave Games, but still waiting for development, so I can’t tell the details, another one was for someone else and I can’t tell anything else and the half of the game is going to be released really soon is this cool football level in Flood Escape 😉
Bring back to life my social media channels
I’m glad what I’m doing on my Instagram.
Keep Tutsy alive
They’re still breathing 😉
Keep up with the baby stuff and don’t go crazy
Am I crazy yet? 😀
Figth with extra kilos
2,7 are down, some more to go.
Try to become a gardener
My home garden gained some more plants and they’re still looking good.
Go out more
I’m not yet ready for big events but I’m going out once a week to nearest coffee shop.
Remember about myself
Finally, I do.

Ok. I thought it would be worse. I even started to think about changing some of the plans but it looks like I’m having no delays at all. I thought that the game’s designs are in worse situation, because games were the most important to me at the beginning of the year. And it looks like thinking about myself and getting back to the balance after giving birth to my child is taking over my activities. But it’s cool. Forgot I wrote that I would be happy even with two game designs for a whole year and I’ve got two already, so any more is even better.

Nothing to change though. I should keep up with this stuff, because I’m doing well 🙂
